Jeffrey Spector

President & Co-founder at Karat

Jeffrey Spector is the president and co-founder of Karat. Jeffrey has over fifteen years of experience in the technology industry. Prior to Karat, Jeffrey was the Chief of Staff to Co-Chair Melinda Gates at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. In this role, they managed a $3 billion annual operating budget and advised on strategic initiatives.

Before their work at the Gates Foundation, Jeffrey was an investment analyst at BKF Asset Management, where they conducted due diligence on potential investments and made recommendations to the firm’s partners. Jeffrey began their career as Vice President of Business Development at Linktone Ltd, a wireless media company. At Linktone, Jeffrey negotiated and closed partnerships with leading mobile operators around the world.

Jeffrey has a BA in Economics from Yale University.

Jeffrey Spector completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Duke University.

They work with Scott Cohen - Head of Finance, Lily Thill - VP, People & Talent, and Rachael Granby - VP, Interview Delivery. Their manager is Mohit Bhende, CEO and Co-founder.
