Natalie Glance

Natalie Glance is currently the Chief Engineering Officer at Duolingo, where they ensure engineers can influence product direction and strategy, advocating for extensive A/B testing and exploring generative AI to enhance content creation. With a strong foundation in physics, having earned a Ph.D. from Stanford University and a B.A. from Princeton University, Natalie's career includes leadership roles at well-known companies such as Google and Xerox, as well as co-founding BlogPulse. They are also passionate about mentorship and co-founded the International AAAI Conference on Web and Social Media (ICWSM), which recognizes promising young researchers in computational social science.
