Andy Lessels

Andy Lessels is an experienced operations leader currently serving as Assistant Director of Operations and Support Services at Karbon Homes since July 2018. In this role, Andy leads a team of over 300 personnel to deliver responsive repair and maintenance services, successfully managing the turnaround of over 2,500 void properties. Previously, Andy held the position of Head of Support Services, overseeing a £5 million budget and implementing a materials supply model for over 200 trade colleagues. Prior experience includes roles as Commercial Manager at Derwentside Homes, Finance Manager at Mears Group PLC, and Cost and Quality Control Manager at Barnet Homes Ltd, where responsibilities encompassed financial management, contract oversight, and service delivery optimization. Andy holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Building Surveying from Southbank University and a Bachelor's Degree in Government and European Union Studies from Newcastle University.
