Barnie Ramaswamy

Barnie Ramaswamy is an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer currently working at Karbon since August 2022, following a decade at Xero, where Barnie held the positions of Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Engineer, and Quality Assurance Analyst. At Xero, Barnie specialized in web automation testing, implementing end-to-end tests with tools such as Cypress, TestCafe, and Nightwatch, alongside performance testing using Charles Proxy and JMeter. Barnie also developed automated testing pipelines in TeamCity and Jenkins, focusing on various testing aspects including API testing with Postman, mobile app testing with Appium, and production monitoring using Newrelic. In addition to technical expertise, Barnie has taken on leadership and coaching roles, guiding development teams in test strategies, mentoring junior developers, and promoting best quality practices. Barnie holds a Master's degree in Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology.
