Taron Ling

Taron Ling is an AI Engineer at Karbon since October 2023, following an impactful role as Insights & Analytics Manager at McDonald's, where responsibilities included directing the insights team for a $600M chicken product expansion, constructing highly accurate revenue projections, leading pricing strategies, and delivering business performance updates to senior executives. With a background as a Data Scientist at 23Strands, Taron contributed to developing dashboards that identified significant market opportunities in genomics, and previously worked as a Developer at Protogen Technologies, upgrading systems for a meal ordering service. Taron's experience encompasses roles as an Electoral Official during Australian elections and a Data Science Intern at OnQue Digital, alongside early work as an Assistant Tennis Coach. Academic qualifications include a dual Bachelor’s degree in Advanced Computing and Commerce from the University of Sydney, along with additional training in computer science from Google Developers Launchpad.
