Dirk Braune

Dirk Braune is an experienced leader in education management, currently serving as the Head of Kardex Academy since January 2024, overseeing the development and delivery of educational offerings. Previously, Braune was the Area Vice President and Head of BMC Education at BMC Software from May 2016 to December 2023, achieving notable successes such as transitioning to a subscription-based education model and establishing an internal university. Prior roles include Vice President of PTC University EMEA, where Braune managed a $30 million organization, and Director roles at Alcatel-Lucent, where Braune developed global learning strategies and improved learning governance. Braune's career began at Genesys, where leadership encompassed global education operations, driving revenue and operational efficiency. Braune holds a Master's degree in Psychology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
