Creative Pattern Cutter/drapery at Karen Millen

Declan Jackson is an experienced creative pattern cutter and drapery professional with a diverse background in the fashion industry. Currently at Karen Millen since April 2015, Declan is responsible for translating designs into patterns for mass production. Previous roles include contributions to notable fashion houses such as Giles Deacon and Victoria Beckham, as well as tailoring for Universal Music Group’s band Chvrches. Declan has also served as a technical tutor at Ravensbourne, fostering new talent in tailoring and pattern drafting, and has engaged as a guest speaker at the British Fashion Council’s career talks during London Fashion Weekend. With a Bachelor's degree in Fashion (Women's Wear) from Ravensbourne University London, Declan's expertise extends across various materials and techniques, including extensive work in leather, corsetry, and couture garment construction.
