Cathy McDowell

Cathy McDowell is President/CEO of Healthcare Colleagues, established in 2022.

Cathy has 24 years of clinical experience with 15 years in hospital administration and service line leadership with Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) as market VP with oversight of Orthopaedic, Spine, and Cardiovascular Service lines.

Most recently, she was a founding member and Chief Operating Officer for Synergy Surgicalists, LLC. Post-merger in 2020, she remained as COO of Synergy Health Partners LLC. Cathy led the integration of the national organization with oversight of Practice Operations, Provider Contracting, Revenue Cycle Management, Recruitment, Service line development, IT, Credentialing, and Enrollment. Cathy is black belt lean six-sigma trained.
