Sonja Mysicka is a seasoned professional in strategic management and business development, currently serving as the Manager of Strategy and Platform at Karger Publishers since February 2017. In this role, Sonja focuses on evaluating the Education Unit’s portfolio and processes, driving innovation and engagement in educational platforms, and managing strategic projects to ensure successful implementation. Previous experience includes roles as a Strategic Competence Specialist and Marketing Specialist at Conaxess Trade, as well as Business Development Manager positions at Valora Group and Weleda AG. Sonja started the career as a Project Manager and Management Trainee at Valora Group, and has held various marketing and product management roles, including serving as Trade Marketing Manager at Novartis Consumer Health. Sonja holds a Master of Science in Psychology with a focus on Social and Economic Psychology from the University of Basel, completed in 2008.
