Gayathri Balasundaram

Gayathri Balasundaram has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Gayathri began their career in 1999 as a Junior Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science. Gayathri then worked as an Assistant Research Officer at Temasek lifesciences laboratory from 2001 to 2003, where they conducted genetic research on zebrafish and managed lab operations. From 2003 to 2004, they served as a Research Assistant at the Genome Institute of Singapore, where they worked on constructing a cDNA library and analyzing transcriptomes.

In 2006, Gayathri joined the University of Washington as a Research Scientist, where they focused on stem cell research and molecular biology techniques. Gayathri contributed to the design and execution of experiments and implemented protocols for studying stem cell populations.
