Leigh Furman, PharmD, is a Senior Medical Science Liaison at Karius, having transitioned into this role in 2025. Previously, they served as a Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist at the University of Minnesota Medical Center from 2021 to 2023, and completed a PGY2 Pediatric Pharmacy Residency at Boston Children's Hospital from 2020 to 2021. They also completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Children's Minnesota in 2019 to 2020. Prior to their clinical roles, Leigh gained valuable experience as a Biology Tutor and Teacher's Assistant at the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis, alongside various internships in pharmacy and research. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at St. Louis College of Pharmacy.
