Gautham Kannan

Gautham Kannan has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Gautham currently works at Karma Automotive as the Lead Engineer for Powertrain Controls. Prior to their current role, they held positions such as Senior Development Engineer and Senior Engineer at Karma Automotive. Before joining Karma Automotive, Gautham worked at Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research as a Powertrain Controls and Drivetrain Engineer for the Deep Orange 9 project. Gautham also gained experience at Mahindra Group as an Engineer in Powertrain Transmission Design. Gautham's expertise includes powertrain controls, systems integration, HIL application, and transmission design.

Gautham Kannan earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli from 2009-2013. Gautham pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Automotive Engineering from Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research from 2016-2018. Additionally, they completed their high school education at Sri Ahobila Math Oriental Higher Secondary School from 2007-2009, focusing on Science, Mathematics, and Statistics.
