Natasha Rattu has extensive experience in the legal field, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Karma Nirvana. With a background as a barrister and previous roles in policy development, family law, and domestic abuse advocacy, Natasha has a strong foundation in law and a commitment to supporting victims of abuse. Natasha holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Leeds and completed the Bar Vocational Course at Nottingham Law School.

Since 1993 Karma Nirvana have supported thousands of victims of Honour Abuse, Disownment and Forced Marriage in the UK. We operate a nationwide helpline, run education awareness programmes and providing training to the NHS, Social Services, Schools and Police Forces throughout Britain. The charity was founded by author, activist and survivor Jasvinder Sanghera CBE. Jasvinder was instrumental in persuading the UK government to criminalise Forced Marriage in 2014. Her books include 'Daughters of Shame', 'Shame Travels' and 'Shame' which was a Times top 10 best seller.
