Ira Winer

Ira Winer is an accomplished medical professional specializing in gynecologic oncology, currently serving as a Professor and Medical Director of Gynecologic Oncology Research at Karmanos Cancer Institute since July 2011. With a strong academic background, Ira Winer completed a medical degree and a PhD in Medicine and Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Michigan Medical School from 1999 to 2007, following a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Boston University. Prior to the current role, Ira Winer was a Gynecologic Oncology Fellow at the University of Michigan Health System from July 2007 to June 2011, and also held positions as an Associate and Assistant Professor.
