Ahmed Zahran

Ahmed Zahran is the CEO and Co-Founder of KarmSolar. Ahmed has over 17 years of experience in the solar energy industry. Prior to KarmSolar, Zahran was the CDM Business Development Manager at EKH, where they were responsible for developing and managing the company's carbon trading business. Ahmed also served as a Board Director at Nahdet El Mahrousa, a Tunisian NGO that promotes entrepreneurship and innovation. Zahran has also worked as a Volunteer with Soliya, moderating virtual classrooms of Arab and American students to build bridges between cultures. Ahmed began their career as a Finance Analyst with Shell De Tunisie in 2003. In 2004, they joined Shell Trading as a Finance Advisor for Environmental Products Trading. Zahran holds a degree in Economics from the University of Tunis.

Ahmed Zahran received a Bachelor of Science in finance from the American University in Cairo. Ahmed then pursued an MSC in political economy of development at SOAS University of London. Finally, they earned an EPSE from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in social entrepreneurship.
