Sofia Sjöström

Sofia Sjöström has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sofia has held positions such as Head of Global Finance at Karo Healthcare, where they managed various finance functions and reported to the CFO. Additionally, they served as a Project Manager and Head of Digital Finance, overseeing the implementation of a global IFS system and digital tools like RPA. Sofia also worked as a Director at Knowit Insight Finance, assisting clients with finance optimization and integration efforts. Earlier in their career, they were a Senior Manager at Capacent and a Managing Consultant at RGP, specializing in CFO services. Sofia has also worked as a Network Leader & Consultant at Ectima, where they managed projects in the finance area. Prior to that, they operated their own consulting business, focusing on finance-related projects and interim Head of Finance roles. Sofia started their career at Johnson & Johnson, holding positions such as Nordic Head of Finance and Nordic Accounting Manager, where they were responsible for finance teams, system implementations, and process improvements. Sofia began their career as an Accounting Consultant at Matrisen Redovisning & Rådgivning. Sofia Sjöström earned an MBA from Henley Business School from 2003 to 2006. Sofia also completed a Diploma in Coaching from Humanova Utbildning AB between 2017 and 2019. Sofia has a degree in Finance & Logistics with a specialization in Accounting from Uppsala University, which they obtained from 1995 to 2000. Additionally, they received a DIHM from IHM Business School specializing in Business Finance from 1995 to 1997.
