Avadhoot Jadhav

Graduate Student

Avadhoot Jadhav is a graduate student at Karolinska Institutet since April 2024, with previous experience as a research fellow at Harvard University's Ploegh Lab, where engineering nanobody fusions targeting the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein contributed to the development of a novel immunotherapy for COVID-19. Jadhav co-founded Curem Biotech LLP, serving as COO and focusing on a rapid malaria diagnostic approach. Additionally, Jadhav held roles within the iGEM community, including Regional Head of Ambassadors for Asia and Oceania, and participated as a visiting fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, working on peptide inhibitors against SARS-CoV-2.
