Laura Orellana

Laura Orellana has extensive work experience in the field of research and academia. Laura currently holds the position of Group Leader & Principal Investigator of the "Protein Dynamics and Mutation Lab" at Karolinska Institutet, where they have been working since November 2020. In addition, they are also an Assistant Professor in Medical Sciences at the same institution.

Prior to their current role, Laura worked as a Researcher at Stockholms universitet from January 2019 to September 2020. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at SciLifeLab from March 2014 to September 2020, and again from October 2016 to October 2016.

Laura Orellana has a diverse education history. Laura obtained a PhD in Physics from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2014, earning the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Cum Laude.
