Lena Johansson

Lena Johansson currently serves as Enhetschef för Molekylär Diagnostik Virologi at Karolinska Institutet since October 2024. Prior to this role, Lena held the position of Manager Quality Control at Sobi - Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (publ) from August 2021 to October 2024, overseeing budget and personnel for two cost centers and leading teams in chemical/biochemical and microbiological laboratories. With extensive experience at Octapharma AB from October 2008 to July 2021, Lena managed QC analytics, motivated teams, and developed a growing biochemical group. Additional roles include positions at Pharmacia & Upjohn and Pharmacia, focusing on quality assurance and laboratory engineering within biochemistry and microbiology. Lena holds a degree from Umeå University in Chemistry and Microbiology, attained between 1988 and 1991.
