Maryam Saghafian

Maryam Saghafian is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in veterinary medicine and research. Currently serving at the Norwegian Veterinary Institute since May 2022, Maryam previously held various roles including Senior Laboratory Manager, Research Laboratory Manager, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Karolinska Institutet from October 2012 to the present. Maryam's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Biology from Medizinische Hochschule Hannover (2008 - 2012), a Master of Science (MSc) in Animal Pathology from Utrecht University (2006 - 2008), and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Shahid Chamran University of Ahvaz (Jundi Shapur) (1999 - 2006).
