Peder Olofsson

Professor Of Bioelectronic Medicine at Karolinska Institutet

Peder Olofsson is a Professor of Bioelectronic Medicine and Head of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Karolinska Institutet, where responsibilities also include serving as Group Leader and Associate Professor of Medicine. As a Wallenberg Academy Fellow, Peder has contributed significantly to the field since October 2015. In addition to roles at Karolinska Institutet, Peder is the Scientific Director at MedTechLabs and Co-Founder of Emune AB. Previous appointments include Professor at The Feinstein Institutes and Institute Scientist at The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research. Peder's medical career began with a residency at Karolinska University Hospital, following an MD internship at Uddevalla Sjukhus. Peder holds a PhD in Experimental Medicine from Karolinska Institutet and an MD in Medicine from Uppsala University.
