Sabine Koch

Sabine Koch is a prominent figure in the field of health informatics, serving as a Professor at Karolinska Institutet and as Director of the Health Informatics Centre since October 2008. With extensive leadership experience, Sabine has held positions such as President and Past President of the International Medical Informatics Association and has been active in the American Medical Informatics Association as a Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics. Additionally, Sabine is the Editor in Chief for the journal Methods of Information in Medicine and has previously served as Director of Education and Treasurer for the International Medical Informatics Association. Sabine's academic background includes a PhD in Medical Informatics from Heidelberg University and an Associate Professorship in Medical Informatics at Uppsala University since 2005.
