Benjamin Selzer

Benjamin Selzer has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Benjamin is currently serving as the Co-Founder and CFO of Karoo Health since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Sprout from November 2020 to October 2021. Benjamin has also held various roles at Schweiger Dermatology Group, including Chief Development Officer from May 2019 to April 2020, Chief Financial Officer from January 2018 to October 2019, Vice President of Finance and Accounting from December 2014 to December 2017, and Vice President of Product Development from June 2013 to November 2014.

Before joining Schweiger Dermatology Group, Benjamin served as the Chief Operating Officer at TONIX Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp. from January 2011 to October 2012. Benjamin also worked at Aton Pharma, Inc. as the Executive Director of Alliance Management and International Operations from April 2008 to May 2009. Benjamin's earlier experience includes a role as Director of Business Development at Reliant Pharmaceuticals from June 2004 to March 2008.

Their career began in investment banking, with roles at Banc of America Securities as an Associate in Healthcare Investment Banking from June 2002 to June 2004, Lehman Brothers as an Associate in Healthcare Investment Banking from April 2000 to June 2002, and Warburg Dillon Read as an Analyst in Healthcare Investment Banking from June 1999 to April 2000. Benjamin's diverse experience in finance and healthcare has equipped him with a strong foundation in business development and financial management.

Benjamin Selzer pursued their education at Rye Country Day School from 1992 to 1995. Benjamin then attended The Johns Hopkins University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics.
