Daoud Kadoch

Daoud Kadoch has work experience in various data-related roles. Daoud started as a Deep Learning Research Intern at Laboratoire LISSI in 2019, where they contributed to the development of an innovative Deep Learning model for recognizing emotional and depressive states from audio data. During their internship, they co-authored a scientific paper that was published in a workshop of the ICPR 2020 conference.

In 2021, Daoud joined OCTO Technology as a Data Consultant. In this role, they worked on multiple projects, including the construction of a data platform for LVMH to centralize the tech needs of various companies. Daoud also built an OCR-based pipeline for automatic detection of markings on tire plans for Michelin. Additionally, Daoud developed an ETL pipeline to extract and load various files into BigQuery tables for Solvay. Daoud followed good practices of code and software engineering, practiced TDD, and worked in a Scrum environment.

Currently, Daoud works as a Machine Learning Engineer at Karos, starting in 2023. Further details about this role are not provided.

Daoud Kadoch completed their education at Sorbonne Université. From 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master DAC degree in Data Science. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2019, they obtained a Licence degree in Informatique from the same institution. In addition to their formal education, Daoud also obtained a certification as a GCP Professional Data Engineer from Google Cloud - Minnesota in May 2022.
