Krista Boston has a diverse and extensive work experience in various legal and leadership roles. Krista currently works at Karpel Solutions as a Project Manager/Trainer. Prior to this, they spent four years at the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office as the Chief Homicide Prosecutor, Violent Crimes Unit Leader, and Crime Strategies Unit Leader. From 2000 to 2017, they held multiple positions at the same office, including Crime Strategies Unit Leader, Drug Enforcement Task Force Team Leader, and Assistant Circuit Attorney.

Before joining the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office, Krista worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the Missouri Attorney General's Office, where they specialized in criminal appeals. Krista also served as a Legal Intern at the United States Attorney's Office and worked as a Law Clerk at Kelley Lehan & Hall, P.C.

Krista began their legal career as a Research Assistant for Dr. Richard Shugrue at Creighton University School of Law. Throughout their career, Krista has demonstrated strong leadership skills, developed and implemented strategic initiatives, and worked collaboratively with various stakeholders in the criminal justice system.

Krista Boston completed their education at various institutions. Krista attended Patch American High School from 1984 to 1986 and Heidelberg American High School from 1986 to 1988. Following this, they studied Political Science at the University of South Florida from 1988 to 1990. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1990 to 1992. Finally, they attended Creighton University from 1995 to 1998 and obtained a Doctor of Law degree (JD) with a specialization in Law.
