Benjamin Rodriguez has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Benjamin started their career in the US Army as a Cavalry Scout from September 2007 to August 2012. Following that, they worked at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs as a Processor of Veteran and Military Student Enrollment for a short period in 2014.

In 2016, Benjamin joined Northrop Grumman Corporation, where they held the roles of Software Engineer and Software Engineer II. During their time there, they played a key role in integrating hardware and software as a Liaison to support a new contract. Benjamin also established a new code baseline and implemented various software tools like Fortify, SonarQube, RHEL, Jenkins, and Artifactory. Benjamin performed Fortify scans, conducted static code analysis through SonarQube, and configured Jenkins for automated builds.

In 2020, Benjamin worked as a Systems Integrator at Infinity Technology Solutions before joining Karthik Consulting as a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer in August 2020. At Karthik Consulting, they demonstrated strong knowledge in utilizing GitLab EE for version control and worked across functional teams to ensure continuous operation of build and test stacks. Benjamin established security policies, automated scanning processes, and deployed and maintained Docker containers and Puppet modules. Additionally, they implemented CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and collaborated with development teams to define pipeline requirements and best practices.

Benjamin Rodriguez received their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections at Brown Mackie College-Salina from 2005 to 2007.

Additionally, Benjamin has obtained two certifications. In May 2014, they received the Microsoft Technology Associate certification in Web Development Fundamentals (C#) from Microsoft. More recently, in October 2022, they became a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scaled Agile, Inc.
