Dan Magar, CISSP, SPC

Dan Magar has a diverse work experience in technical roles. Dan is currently working at Karthik Consulting since November 2021, where they are responsible for building a devsecops pipeline for the space force and serves as the Program Manager/Configuration Manager/Scrum Master. Prior to this, they worked as a Scrum Master at Karthik Consulting, where they developed workflows and approval processes for new technical teams in an Agile environment.

Before joining Karthik Consulting, Dan worked at Overlook Systems Technologies, Inc. from March 2017 to October 2020 as a Senior Technical Writer. In this role, they collaborated with engineering and software teams to create operating guides and training materials for the GPS family of SVs.

Dan started their career at Northrop Grumman Corporation in March 2012 as a Publications Analyst, where they worked on SGML creation for TOs and quality assurance in various weapons systems.

In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications including Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum Alliance in April 2019, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in August 2022, and Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2021.
