June Shores

June Shores has a strong background in cybersecurity, with experience in various roles and companies. From 2016 to 2017, June worked as an Information Security Analyst Intern at Tim Hoffman & Associates. In this role, they gained valuable experience in the field. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Cyber Defense Subject Matter Expert for GPS at Peraton. This position allowed their to develop expertise in cyber defense. June then joined the United States Space Force in 2021 as a Cyberspace Defense Analyst. During their time there, they provided input to critical space operation documentation, managed a team of SOC analysts, performed incident triage, and conducted research on APTs. Currently, June is working at Karthik Consulting as a Cybersecurity Cloud Engineer, a role they took on in 2023. Overall, June has a solid foundation and diverse experience in cybersecurity.

June Shores holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Columbia. In addition to their degree, they also have multiple certifications, including Splunk Power User from Splunk - NYC obtained in September 2019, CompTIA PenTest+ ce Certification from CompTIA obtained in June 2021, CISSP from (ISC)² obtained in August 2018, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council obtained in July 2019, Network+ from CompTIA obtained in January 2017, and Security+ from CompTIA.
