Vani Neelakantan

Vani Neelakantan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

In 2016, they worked as a Freelance Copyeditor, where they provided copy editing services for Stephanie Woodfield's book.

In 2017, they held two positions: Sales Representative at Road Runner Sports and Adjunct Faculty at Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District, where they taught a college composition class, focusing on critical thinking and analysis utilizing the thesis-based essay format.

In 2018, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Coleman University.

In 2019, they began working as a Human Health Services Specialist at the San Diego County Human Health Services Agency, and also joined Potchki Podcast as a Voice Actor/Cast Member for The Potchki Audio Chronicles.

In 2020, they worked as a Teacher at EF International Language Campuses.

In 2021, they took on multiple roles. They worked as a Writing Teacher and Editing Partner at Hamilton Education, and also started their own business, The Tarot Stories, where they taught workshops on storytelling using Tarot imagery and provided Tarot and Oracle Card reading services.

Most recently, in 2022, they joined Karthik Consulting as the Training and Communications Lead.

Throughout their career, Vani Neelakantan has gained experience in teaching, communication, copyediting, sales, and human health services.

Vani Neelakantan completed a TEFL/TESL certification program at San Diego State University in 2019. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English Language and Literature at the same university. They obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Whittier College from 2002 to 2006.
