Chaz Rainey

Chaz Rainey has an extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Currently, they serve as the Executive Vice President and Head of Business and Legal Affairs at Kartoon Studios (TOON) since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Of Counsel and later became an Equity Partner at Hamrick & Evans, LLP from September 2016 to January 2022.

Chaz Rainey has also served on the Board of Directors for several companies, including Stan Lee Universe since May 2021, Stan Lee Global Entertainment, LLC since July 2019, and The Bill Nye Science Foundation since September 2018.

Before joining Kartoon Studios and Hamrick & Evans, LLP, Chaz Rainey was the Managing Partner at Rainey Legal Group PLLC from June 2008 to September 2016. Chaz also gained valuable experience as the In-House Counsel at William Hill, a race and sports gaming startup, from May 2007 to June 2008. During their tenure, they played a crucial role in the company's growth and acquisition by William Hill.

Chaz Rainey began their career as a Summer Associate at Greenberg Traurig in 2006 and as a Doctoral Research Assistant at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law from September 2005 to May 2006. Chaz also had the opportunity to work as a Legislative Extern at the United States Senate from May 2005 to August 2005.

Chaz Rainey's education history includes a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law and Legal Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2013 to 2015. They also obtained a J.D. degree in Law from the William S. Boyd School of Law, University of Nevada-Las Vegas from 2004 to 2007. In addition, Chaz Rainey holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from UNLV Lee Business School, earned from 2003 to 2007. They completed their undergraduate studies at the University of California, Berkeley, receiving a B.A. degree in English from 1999 to 2002. Chaz Rainey also attended the School of Visual Arts from 1995 to 1997, studying Film/Cinema/Video Studies, and completed their high school education at Bishop O'Connell High School, earning a High School Diploma from 1991 to 1995. They are currently pursuing a Certificate in Computer Science from Harvard University, expected to be obtained from 2023 to 2024. Furthermore, Chaz Rainey has several certifications related to practicing law, including admissions to various courts and state bar licenses.
