Yi Chai

Yi Chai is a seasoned biostatistician with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Senior Director of Biostatistics at Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. since September 2017, following a progression of roles including Director, Associate Director, Senior Manager, and Senior Biostatistician. Prior to Karyopharm, Yi Chai worked at Biogen from February 2014 to September 2017 as a Senior Biostatistician and Biostatistician. Academic experience includes a position as a Teaching/Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from January 2008 to December 2013, and earlier IT support at the Laryngeal Physiology Laboratory. Prior roles include working as a Datawarehouse Engineer at eBay from April 2005 to June 2007. Yi Chai holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Fudan University.
