Arkar Zaw ACCA

Arkar Zaw, ACCA has a diverse range of work experience. Arkar currently holds the position of Head of Finance at Karzo since March 2023. Previously, they worked as a Financial Controller at Supreme Group of Companies from April 2020 to July 2022. Prior to that, they were a Manager at PwC Myanmar from September 2018 to April 2020. Arkar also has experience in the technology industry, having served as a Senior Manager Finance and Finance Manager at Oway Ride from January 2018 to September 2018 and from December 2016 to December 2017, respectively. Arkar also worked as a General Ledger Manager at Ooredoo Myanmar from April 2016 to November 2016. Earlier in their career, Arkar held positions as Finance Manager and Assistant Chief Accountant at Victoria Hospital from March 2015 to April 2016 and from December 2013 to March 2015, respectively. Arkar started their career as a Project Accountant at SPA Project Management Pte Ltd from July 2013 to December 2013.

Arkar Zaw, ACCA, has a strong educational background in the field of accounting and finance. Arkar began their education in 2008 at Kaplan Singapore, where they obtained a CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) degree in Accounting and Finance in 2009. Arkar then pursued further studies at ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) from 2010 to 2019, focusing on Accounting. This certification from ACCA played a significant role in their education and professional growth.

In 2020, Arkar Zaw continued to enhance their knowledge in finance by studying at the CFA Institute, specializing in Finance, General. This additional education further strengthened their expertise in the financial field.

Looking ahead, Arkar Zaw plans to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Professional Accountancy from the University of London starting in 2022, which will be completed by 2023. This program will provide him with advanced skills and knowledge in professional accountancy, further solidifying their qualifications in the field.

In addition to their educational achievements, Arkar Zaw is also affiliated with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), indicating their recognition as a qualified member of this prestigious institution.
