Isaac Doub

Isaac Doub has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. In their most recent role as Director of Software Engineering at Kaseware, they introduced new Jira, Git, and release processes to simplify auditing and work towards FEDRAMP certification. Isaac also tightened up the Agile process and acted as a Scrum Master, tracking velocity and forecasting product release timelines. Isaac built Jira/GitLab integrations and automation pipelines to reduce dev overhead and enable QA testing.

Prior to their role at Kaseware, Isaac worked as a Senior Software Engineer at HomeAdvisor, where they implemented an algorithm and microservice to improve consumer NPS and rewrote a microservice to reduce submit times for consumer requests.

Isaac also gained experience as a Software Engineer at Brookson Financial Services, where they updated an Access CMS and integrated it with external services in the financial sector to provide immediate quotes for advisors. Isaac implemented a documentation macro and error trapping/reporting mechanism that improved bug hunting processes.

In addition, Isaac has worked as a Freelance Web Developer and completed summer internships at Arm. As an intern at Arm, they created animations for technical documentation and gained knowledge about ARM MMU and Flash environment.

Isaac Doub began their education in 2003 at Trinity School in Carlisle, where they completed their secondary education. After completing high school, Isaac attended the University of Bristol from 2008 to 2009, specializing in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. However, they did not obtain a degree during this time. Following that, Isaac pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Bristol, completing it from 2010 to 2013. In terms of additional certifications, in May 2022, Isaac achieved the Sumo Logic Fundamentals Certified and Sumo Logic Search Mastery Certified certifications from Sumo Logic.
