Ali Habib

Ali Habib serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for Kashf Foundation, a non-profit focused on microfinance for women's enterprise, and as Chief Executive Officer at SAMA^Verte since September 2022. Additionally, Ali holds the position of President at Adventure Foundation of Pakistan, a non-profit dedicated to outdoor education for youth, while also being a Managing Partner at HIMAˆVerte, which emphasizes environmentally and socially sensitive businesses. Ali has experience as National Project Lead for CLASP International, focusing on energy efficiency standards, and has held the role of Deputy Team Leader for the Econolor/NEC project on Solar Home Systems. Ali's extensive background includes 19 years as Director General/CEO of WWF-Pakistan, overseeing significant organizational growth and participating in the WWF global network. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, a Master's in Environmental Sciences from the University of the Punjab, and executive short courses in Organizational Leadership and Non-Profit Management from IMD and Harvard Business School, respectively.
