Carlos Villaran Wiegering

Carlos Villaran Wiegering has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Carlos started their career as a Practicante at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in 1998, where they gained experience in migrating systems and analyzing risks of solutions. Carlos then worked as an Analista de Riesgos de Soluciones, where they contributed to the migration of multi-company computer systems and maintained the student intranet.

In 2001, Carlos joined Bellsouth International Advertising & Publishing Peru S.A as an Analista de Sistemas / Jefe de Proyecto. During their time there, they analyzed, designed, developed, and maintained the company's web platform, including statistical reporting using Java and SQL Server.

From 2002 to 2009, Carlos worked at Americatel as an Analista de Sistemas. Carlos was responsible for coordinating and implementing web projects, as well as analyzing, designing, developing, and maintaining ISP, broadband, and service websites.

In 2009, Carlos joined SafetyPay as an IT Application Support, where they implemented e-commerce platforms globally and managed Salesforce accounts. Carlos later became the Integration Manager, overseeing implementation projects and administering virtualization servers.

Carlos then moved to KASHIO INC in 2017 as a Product Leader. Carlos supported process teams, managed product management business units, and led projects for business platform development.

From 2015 to 2017, Carlos held the role of Business Operations Manager at SafetyPay, where they developed the strategic plan for the department, managed various business units, and created innovative technological solutions.

At Auna, Carlos worked as an Apoderado de Optimización de Negocios from 2018 to 2022. Carlos conducted process assessments, managed improvement projects, and analyzed regulatory compliance.

Most recently, Carlos joined KashIO in 2022 as a Product Manager. Carlos is responsible for defining and communicating the direction of the digital product portfolio, identifying user needs, and prioritizing development backlogs.
