Harsha V Prasad

Harsha V Prasad has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning over several roles and companies. Currently, Harsha holds the position of Associate Director- Quality at Kashiv BioSciences LLC since April 2022. Prior to this, Harsha worked at Aurolife LLC (Aurobindo Pharma-USA Division) as a Sr. Manager Quality, starting in 2008. Before that, Harsha served as the QC & Analytical Development Head at American Antibiotics, Inc. from December 2007 to December 2008. Harsha also worked as a Team Leader - Analytical & Quality at Geopharma from March 2006 to December 2007. Additionally, Harsha held the role of Asst Manager-Analytical Development at Dr. Reddys and Nicholas Piramal for a period of six years from 2000 to 2006. Prior to that, Harsha worked as a Sr. Chemist at Nicholas Piramal from June 1997 to 2000 and as a Chemist at Ipca laboratories Ltd from June 1996 to 1997. Harsha began their career as an Analyst at Plathico Pharmaceuticals in 1995.

Harsha V Prasad holds a Master of Science (Applied Chemistry) degree with a specialization in Organic & Analytical Chemistry from the Institute of Chemical Sciences at the University of Indore. In addition to their education, Harsha has obtained several certifications in various fields, including data trending analysis, effective CAPA systems management, investigation/CAPA systems and human error reduction, resource conservation and recovery act/hazardous materials, Autopol polarimeter training, throughput improvement, supply chain reorganization and LEAN transformation, problem solving, use and maintenance of Waters 2690 HPLC systems, and Shimadzu LC-2010HTC user operation. These certifications were obtained from institutions such as BEPC Inc. - Business Excellence Professional Consulting, Specialty Disposal Services, Inc, Rudolph Research Analytical, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Middlesex County College, Calibration Technologies, and Shimadzu Scientific Instruments.
