Dr. Burcu Girginer Özünlü

Burcu Girginer Özünlü, PhD, currently serves as the Sustainable Materials Unit Manager at Kastamonu Entegre and as a Faculty Lecturer at İstanbul Arel Üniversitesi, both roles beginning in 2024. Furthermore, Burcu is a mentor at İTÜ Çekirdek since September 2021 and previously held the position of Director at Fark Labs TEKMER until April 2024. Prior to these roles, Burcu was the Sales and Business Development Manager at both DUCKT and ACTON from 2021 to early 2023. Earlier experience includes a Technical Specialist position focused on R&D in polymer technology at Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center and leadership roles at Farplas, including R&D Team Leader. Burcu's educational background consists of a PhD in Advanced Technologies - Material Science and Engineering and a Master's degree in Polymer Science & Technology from Istanbul Technical University, complemented by a high school diploma from Kabataş Erkek Lisesi.
