Joseph Leiva, PE has a diverse range of experience in the construction industry. Joseph co-founded and served as CEO of Kaster, a communication platform aimed at streamlining communication on construction projects. Prior to this, they also co-founded and served as CEO of ProTrakr, Inc., a company providing technology solutions for subcontractors in the construction space.
In addition to their entrepreneurial endeavors, Leiva has extensive project management experience at L & L Construction Assoc., Inc. where they successfully completed over $20mm of subcontract work across multiple infrastructure projects. Joseph also served as a project engineer, co-administering several heavy civil subcontract projects and managing activities such as subcontract agreements, supplier management, design, engineering, and safety compliance. Leiva also performed estimates, document management, and bid proposals for prospective contracts.
Joseph Leiva, PE holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland. Additionally, they obtained a Professional Engineer certification from the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation in January 2010.
