Gokul Sridharan

Gokul Sridharan has an extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Gokul is currently the Director of Solution Engineering - North America & Global at Katalon since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Dream Alchemist at Quality Collective in 2022, where they focused on advancing the QA community through virtual and local meetups and a Community Slack.

In 2021, Gokul served as a 2022 PSC Ambassador and Special Programs Leader on the PSC Leadership Team at PreSales Collective, where they were responsible for supporting the organization's initiatives. Gokul also held the role of Leadership Member in 2021.

From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Micro Focus in multiple roles. Gokul served as the Director - Global Customer Experience (Fortify AppSec), where they focused on improving the end-to-end customer experience. Prior to that, they were the Solution Engineering Leader for the sales teams in Canada and NA territory teams for the Fortify, leading a team of solution engineering experts. Gokul also served as the Manager of Solution Architect/Sales Engineers in the Application Delivery Management Business Unit.

Before Micro Focus, Gokul worked at CA Technologies from 2014 to 2018. Gokul held positions such as Presales Team Lead and Presales Consultant, where they helped clients understand their needs in the DevOps focus area and provided solutions using CA's products.

Gokul also has prior experiences at The Snack Shack, where they were a Co-Founder from 2011 to 2015, and at La Quinta, where they worked as an E-Commerce Intern in 2014. Additionally, they interned at Walt Disney World as a Workforce Management Reporting and Analytics Intern in 2013.

Gokul's early experiences include roles as a Global Student Ambassador and Comet Caller at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2013. Gokul also worked as a Junior IT Architect Intern at La Quinta in the same year, where they focused on analyzing business processes, interacting with vendors, and studying new products in the market.

Gokul Sridharan has a diverse education history. Gokul obtained their Masters degree in Information Technology Management from The University of Texas at Dallas from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai, spanning from 2007 to 2011. Furthermore, Gokul Sridharan completed their high school education in Computer Science at Indian school muscat from 2006 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Gokul Sridharan has also obtained several certifications. Gokul acquired the Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals certification from Coursera in June 2017. Gokul obtained the SaFe for Leaders certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2016. Gokul Sridharan also holds the ITIL Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice, which they obtained in November 2014. Prior to that, in September 2013, they achieved the Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance. Most recently, in August 2020, they obtained the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
