Byron Laws

Byron has worked on the technology side of the publishing industry to simplify processes and solve problems for publishers. Currently, he works as Sales Director-Americas for Katalyst’s Publishing Services division. With an educational background in technology and marketing, Byron has worked with many publishers over the years, both large and small, generalized and specialized. He has a thorough understanding of the publishing process and consults with publishers on workflow processes at a highly granular level. Byron has worked previously at KiwiTech, Lumina Datamatics, Aptara, AchieveGlobal, and Ovid Technologies.

Byron is well known in global publishing circles and is an active industry volunteer, serving as Treasurer on the board of the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP), and speaking regularly at industry events.
