Nick Hsu has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Nick started their career at ITRI as a Deputy Engineer, where they were responsible for the dispersion technology platform for various applications. Nick then joined UniDisplay Inc. as a Senior Engineer in the Touch Panel R&D Department, where they played a significant role in the technical development of the DITO sensor line.
Afterwards, Hsu worked at Giantplus Technology Co., Ltd. as Deputy Manager of the Touch Panel Engineering Department. Here, they led an engineering team in building a production line for Gen 2.5 DITO glass sensors and modules, achieving high yield rates through process and equipment development.
Hsu then joined Cambrios Technologies Corporation as an Application Engineering Manager. In this role, they focused on the technical development of the ClearOhm film and touch application, qualifying film patterning methods and enabling touch panel makers to generate more sales.
Currently, Hsu holds the position of Director of Technology at Kateeva. Prior to this role, they served as the Sr. Application Engineering Manager and later the Application Engineering Manager. At Kateeva, Hsu led an application team in the development of the YIELDjet EXPLORE/YIELDjet Flex platform, collaborating with major display suppliers in China and Korea to enable inkjet-printed monitor and TV demos. Nick also played a key role in resolving equipment and process issues, shortening the TFE process tuning time, and developing standardization procedures and documentation.
Overall, Hsu's career has encompassed roles with increasing responsibility, showcasing their expertise in application engineering, technical development, and team leadership.
Nick Hsu obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from National Chung Cheng University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry at National Taiwan University, specializing in this field of study from 2001 to 2003.
