Jos Decleer

Jos Decleer is a seasoned educator and consultant with extensive experience in the fields of geology, leadership, and organizational development. Since September 2010, Jos has served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at KU Leuven's Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, teaching courses on leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship to international geosciences master students, while also contributing to curriculum development and mentoring students at various academic levels. Furthermore, Jos has held leadership roles in multiple organizations, including as Chairman of the primary school VKKBOS and as a business consultant for various companies such as ESSENCE consult and SECO Belgium. Jos has a solid academic foundation with a PhD in Geology from KU Leuven, complemented by a Master’s degree in Geology, and a robust professional history, including significant positions at Shell, focusing on business optimization and process management.
