Leon Ballard

Leon Ballard is a seasoned professional in the real estate sector, currently serving as Co-Founder and COO of Kato since December 2019, where the vision is to create a global platform for transacting commercial property. Alongside this role, Leon has been an angel investor since December 2018, focusing on PropTech, FinTech, and ConsumerTech at the pre-Seed and Seed stages. Prior to Kato, Leon spent significant time at Jones Lang LaSalle as National Director of Capital Markets in Warsaw, Poland, providing consultancy and leading substantial deals. Earlier experience includes working at Cushman & Wakefield in London in Corporate Real Estate and West End Office Agency, as well as positions at DTZ in New Zealand and Royal LePage in Canada. Leon's academic background includes a BSc in Human & Physical Geography with Management, IT & Statistics from the University of Reading and an MSc in Real Estate from Kingston University.
