Mary Kane

Mary Kane is an experienced library professional currently serving as the Director of Katonah Village Library since March 2016, where significant achievements include securing a $100,000 grant aimed at supporting youth during the COVID-19 pandemic and enhancing library accessibility. Previously, Mary held the Director position at Orangeburg Library from 2014 to 2016, where initiatives included improving staff interaction and launching the Senior Outreach Program. Prior to that, Mary served as Head Reference Librarian and Adult Event Programmer at Ringwood Public Library from 2008 to 2014, managing a reference collection and overseeing staff training. Mary holds a Master of Science in Library & Information Science from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in English, graduating summa cum laude, from William Paterson University of New Jersey.
