The brand KATRI NISKANEN was established in Helsinki in 2010 by the designer with the same name. The designer's love for effortless elegance, sculptural drapings and comfortable cuts inspired her to create a line where modern sophistication meets Scandinavian purity.

With a harmonic palette of colors in elegant and feminine silhouettes, the designs make your day effortless and easy, and yet as festive as you want. Katri Niskanen creates refined collections that encourage women to love themselves at any occasions.  The clothes are versatile and multi-purpose design brings timeless elegance to everyday life. 

The designer, Katri Niskanen, won the very first Finnish Project Runway competition in 2009 and founded the brand in 2010, opening her first store the same year. Ever since the brand has been expanding nationally and over national borders. Katri won the title of "Clothing Designer of the Year" at the Finnish ELLE Style Awards in October 2014.

In addition to the ready-to-wear collection, Katri Niskanen is highly regarded for her unique made-to-measure evening gowns. Katri Niskanen offers personalized service at her atelier in Helsinki.

The collections are sold at selected stores in Europe, Scandinavia, Asia and the United States.
