Laura Fulton has extensive experience in business development and client service roles. Laura has worked as the Director of Business Development at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP since 2016, where they have led various client development programs and implemented new technologies to enhance the firm's thought leadership. Prior to that, they served as the Assistant Director of Client Development at Covington & Burling LLP from 2014 to 2016. Laura also worked as the Executive Director at Special Counsel's Washington, D.C. office from 2013 to 2014, overseeing business development and recruitment teams. Earlier in their career, they held business development and litigation roles at WilmerHale, Special Counsel, and McNamee, Hosea, Jernigan, Kim, Greenan & Lynch, P.A. Laura began their career as a Judicial Law Clerk for Judge Richard H. Sothoron. Additionally, they gained international experience as a Business Development Research Assistant in London.
Laura Fulton attended the University of Maryland from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Government and Politics. Laura then pursued their Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law from 1999 to 2001.
