Melinda Stone, Ed.D, has been an integral part of Katy Independent School District since August 1998, serving in various leadership roles, including as the Principal of James E. Taylor High School and previously as the Principal of WoodCreek Junior High. With a strong foundation in educational management and technology, Melinda has also held positions as an Associate Principal, Assistant Principal, and Instructional Technology Facilitator, focusing on staff development, curriculum writing, and integrating technology in education. In addition to K-12 leadership, Melinda is currently an Adjunct Professor at the University of Houston-Victoria, teaching master's program classes, and serves as an Adjunct Field Supervisor for Lamar University. Melinda's academic qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and multiple degrees in Educational Management and Instructional Technology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, complemented by Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication and Spanish from the University of Arkansas.
