Sylvia Lawson-Cook

Sylvia Lawson-Cook, MSW, LCSW, CCTP, currently serves as the Business Owner of Circle of Empowerment, LLC, providing specialized support to the LGBTQIA+ community, including services focused on gender, identity, sexuality, trauma, grief, loss, and relationship dynamics. In addition, Sylvia works as a Behavioral Health Consultant at Katy Trail Community Health and has experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Reed Counseling Specialists. Previous roles include providing social work and therapy services across various healthcare settings, including both medical and behavioral health contexts. Sylvia holds a Master of Social Work from Ohio University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology-Criminology from the same institution.
