Stephen Short

Stephen Short, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the field of audit and finance. Stephen started their career as an Audit Intern at Noble Consulting Services, Inc in 2010, where they gained valuable experience in auditing insurance companies. Stephen then interned at Cummins Inc. in 2011, working on various finance projects related to purchasing and supply chain management.

In 2011, Stephen joined Dauby O'Connor & Zaleski as an Audit Intern and later transitioned to become an Audit Staff member. During their time there, they honed their auditing skills and contributed to multiple areas such as reinsurance, fraud, financial statements, and information technology.

In 2014, Stephen joined KSM (Katz, Sapper & Miller) as an Auditor. Stephen played an integral role in ensuring the accuracy of financial information and providing assurance services to clients. In July 2022, they were promoted to the position of Director, Audit and Assurance Services at Katz, Sapper & Miller.

Throughout their career, Stephen has demonstrated their expertise in audit and finance, assisting teams with analytical support, Sox compliance audit testing, and compiling reports.

Stephen Short, CPA obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting and Supply Chain Management with honors from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in the year 2011. Additionally, they have obtained a CPA certification from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in January 2015.
