Tom Kean

Tom Kean has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Tom currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Kauffman Engineering since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Executive In Charge for the company from August 2021 to November 2021 and as the VP Sales from October 2020 to August 2021.

Before joining Kauffman Engineering, Tom co-founded Silverbacks Elite Rugby in March 2021.

From 2017 to 2020, Tom worked at CTS Corporation as the Global Sales Director. In this role, they had global responsibility for Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Sales Operations. Tom managed remote and virtual teams and pioneered new sales methodologies in the Electronics industry.

Prior to CTS Corporation, Tom held multiple roles at Panduit. From 2014 to 2017, they served as the VP of Sales Operations & Enablement, where they managed sales processes and enablement across six global groups. Tom also grew a specialized professional team and developed a post-sales technical support model to increase customer satisfaction.

At Panduit, Tom also held the positions of Global Director of Technical Sales from 2013 to 2014 and Director of System Solutions Engineering from 2011 to 2013. In these roles, they oversaw large teams and implemented various initiatives to enhance sales efficiency and workforce structure.

Tom's earlier career includes roles at Xyratex, where they served as the Senior Director Worldwide Pre & Post Technical Sales from 2009 to 2011, Worldwide Support Manager from 2007 to 2009, Lead Application Engineer from 2006 to 2007, and Application Engineer from 2002 to 2006. Tom also worked as a Lead Development Test Engineer from 2001 to 2002 and a Development Test Engineer from 1999 to 2001.

Tom started their career as a Graduate Development Engineer at Xyratex from 1997 to 1999.

Tom Kean obtained a BSc and Diploma in Computing & Management from Loughborough University from 1995 to 1999. Tom then pursued further education at the same university from 1997 to 1999, where they obtained a Diploma in Professional studies. In 2001, Tom Kean attended The Open University and obtained a Diploma of the MBA in Professional Management.
